Dust Control Technology sponsors event in aid of Mexican orphanage
Dust Control Technology sponsored the ‘Carvin’ for kids’ event in Mexico. The day-long event benefits children at the Casa Hogar de Cabo San Lucas orphanage in Baja California Sur, which currently cares for the development and well-being of 41 boys. The day involved food and surfing, including lessons from professional instructors. This is the third event of its kind, all three of which have been sponsored by Dust Control Technology.

CARE Construction Challenge
CARE International is inviting the construction industry to participate in the 5th annual CARE Construction Challenge. Teams will run, hike, cycle and kayak a marathon distance in aid of those affected by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. CARE International helps to construct emergency shelter, permanent housing and infrastructure in humanitarian crises.
In 2013, 37 teams from the construction sector took part in the challenge, raising £70 000 between them. Over the last four years, construction industry teams have generated more than £200 000 in fundraising.
Last year's winners from the URS Corporation.
The event will take place on 29 June 2014 in the Forest of Dean, UK. More information about taking part can be found here.
