Argos has received the Energy Star award from the US Environmental Protection Agency in recognition of efforts to achieve energy savings at its cement plants in Harleyville, South Carolina; Newberry, Florida; and Roberta, Alabama.
Maria Isabel Echeverri, Sustainability Vice President, said: “In Argos we reassure our commitment to develop a more responsible production day after day, by optimising energy efficiency, manage this resource strategically, and carry out cost-effective improvements.
