Malvern expands its presence in Latin America
Malvern Instruments has further expanded its presence in Latin America with the opening of a new sales office in Mexico City. The facility will provide pre- and after-sales support in addition to offering advanced training courses and seminars. The new site will help to meet the requirements of the company’s growing customer base in the region.
At the end of 2012, Malvern opened a new applications and demonstrations laboratory in São Paulo, Brazil, which also offers sales support. The laboratory is located within the offices of Spectris, Malvern’s parent company.
“The markets of Latin America are very important for Malvern, across our complete range of products for materials and biophysical characterisation,” said Brian Dutko, President of The Americas Operations for Malvern. “Our investment in operations in Mexico will extend the local support and training we can deliver to our instrument users and to potential new customers as Malvern’s systems play an increasing role in this growing manufacturing economy.”
