A-LOK Products Inc. of Tullytown, Pennsylvania, and Seaman Corp. of Wooster, Ohio, have announced a strategic alliance to leverage years of experience and innovative technology, with the aim to offer the best solutions where concrete protection against corrosion is a major consideration.
XR® QuikLinerTM, based on Seaman Corp.’s proprietary XR-5® technology, is a fabric-reinforced membrane that provides protection. The technology is well-suited to geomembrane solutions under demanding conditions and in harsh environments. XR GeomembranesTM and the XR QuikLiner are both backed by the company’s 70 year history of developing high performance industrial fabrics.
“We are excited about the opportunity to collaborate with Seaman Corp. in offering the XR QuikLiner to our customers in the precast concrete industry,” said Jim Westhoff, President of A-LOK Products Inc. “XR-5 technology offers a liner that provides 100% attachment to the concrete, can make unique shapes, and will allow us to refine our present liner solutions.”
“A-LOK’s expertise and credibility in servicing the precast concrete market will allow Seaman Corp. to reach precasters, engineering firms, and end-users with a knowledgeable and personalised approach,” said Raymond Pace, Vice President and General Manager of Seaman Corp.’s Industrial Fabrics Division. “It is an honour to have a company with A-LOK’s reputation for service and integrity choose to represent our technology.”
The companies are both family-owned businesses based in the US.
