World Cement,
Cemengal has received an order for two Plug&Grind XL units from Cementos Argos in Honduras. The two units will be used to establish a 0.44 million tpy grinding plant in the north of the country.
The two 0.22 million tpy units consist of a 1100 kW 3.0 dia. x 9.5 m ball mill, latest-generation classifier, and a 50 000 m3/hour bag filter. The scope of supply also includes new cement storage silos for finished product, as well as packing and dispatch equipment.
The two Plug&Grind XL units will expand Argos’ Honduran cement capacity by around 30%. Argos already operates an integrated cement plant in Comayagua and a grinding plant in San Lorenzo.
