Cemex announced the winners of its Cemex Building Award 2024 at a ceremony in Monterrey, Mexico, attended by leading architects, designers, engineers, and construction industry professionals from around the world.
The contest, which since 1991 has recognised the best construction projects in Mexico and the world, received 355 national entries for this edition and a wide variety of projects from 17 different countries. A panel of prestigious architects selected the winners from 23 finalist projects in the National Edition and 43 finalist projects in the International Edition.
The panel of judges was comprised of 10 renowned architects and engineers from Mexico, US, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia and Belgium.
