Superior Industries, Inc. to buy FLSmidth facility

American company Superior Industries, Inc., which manufactures ground-breaking, bulk material process and handling equipment, has reached an agreement to purchase the assets of FLSmidth’s crusher manufacturing plant in Illinois, USA. The facilities include a 10-year-old, 70 000 ft2 plant with 30 employees. Superior Industries plans to use the facility as a US manufacturing centre for cone crushing equipment.

This is the second major acquisition for the company this year, following the purchase of Clemro Western, Ltd in Alberta, Canada, which manufactures a line of cone and jaw crushers.
