World Cement,
Cemtrex, Inc. is experiencing greater proposal activity in its Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) business thanks to increasingly stringent environmental regulation on the cement and coal-fired power industries.
The company’s Vice President, Ravi Narayan, said that upgrades at US cement plants and forthcoming air toxic rules for coal-fired power plants have led to increased activity, as has the expansion of the greenhouse gases to be measured.
Forecasts suggest the global market for CEMS will exceed US$1 billion per year, to include analysers, software and the accompanying service revenue. With its "IntelliPRO" and "IntelliCEM" range of CEMS packages that have been already installed at hundreds of industrial and utility facilities, Cemtrex is well positioned to meet this expected demand in the next two years.
