Cementos Argos and IR team recognised in Extel’s Latin America Equities Awards 2025

Cementos Argos, the cement company of Grupo Argos, was honored in the Extel’s Latin America Equities Awards 2025, conducted by Extel Insights (formerly Institutional Investor), one of the most prestigious market intelligence studies. This edition included votes from 683 portfolio managers and institutional investors’ analysts (buy-side) across 387 firms, and 228 analysts from brokerage and investment banking firms (sell-side) across 47 firms. These participants nominated over 300 companies from 16 Latin American sectors.
In the Cement and Construction sector, the company placed third in the categories of Best Investor Relations Program and Best Investor Relations Team, reflecting market confidence in its transparency, robust financial strategy, and effective communication with analysts and investors.
Additionally, the survey also recognised:
Felipe Aristizábal, Chief Financial Officer at Cementos Argos, as one of the top three in the region in the Best CFO category, which evaluates leadership, communication, and financial credibility.
The Board of Directors of Cementos Argos, ranked in the top 3 in the Best Company Board category, which highlights strong strategic oversight, credibility, and governance practices.
Indira Díaz, former Director of Investor Relations and current Financial Manager for the Colombia Region, among the top three in the Best IR Professional category, which assesses authority, credibility, business knowledge, and responsiveness of IR professionals.
These distinctions reaffirm that Cementos Argos is among the most highly regarded companies in the region for investor relations and reflect the effectiveness of its strategy to generate economic value and strengthen trust in the capital markets.
