CTLGroup and Cibor Geoconsultants form strategic partnership

Cibor Geoconsultants, the Houston-based geotechnical consulting firm, has joined CTLGroup in a strategic alliance to serve private and public clients in the infrastructure, energy and oil and gas sectors, addressing problems in forensic geotechnical engineering, cement-based materials, structural assessment and structural health monitoring.
“This strategic alliance will benefit clients by providing a new multi-disciplinary team approach,” said Tim Tonyan, PhD, CTLGroup’s Senior Vice President. “Today’s energy and building industries are increasingly faced with challenges requiring a combination of geotechnical, environmental, materials and structural expertise. This alliance addresses those needs by providing a single source for the needed expertise, enabling integrated solutions to be developed that provide the opportunity to save time and money,” he added.
