LafargeHolcim appoints Gentoso to head US cement business

LafargeHolcim in the US have appointed Jamie Gentoso as CEO of its cement operations. A professional engineer, Gentoso takes of over from John Stull, who was recently appointed CEO of Holcim Philippines.

“Jamie has a proven track record in this industry and her deep-seated expertise and strong focus on the customer will be valued contributions to LafargeHolcim in the US,” said René Thibault, LafargeHolcim Group Executive Committee Member and Region Head, North America.

“Having started her career at Holcim, we know she will bring strong leadership to the organisation and drive continued growth and success across the cement business.”

Gentoso joins LafargeHolcim from Construction Specialties, an architectural building products manufacturer, where she was Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Before Construction Specialties she was Senior Vice President at Sika Corp. US.

Gentoso has an MBA and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan.
