Lafarge Canada awarded final phase of Highway 1 Lower Lynn Improvement Project

World Cement,
Lafarge Infrastructure has been awarded the Main Street/Dollarton Highway Interchange contract – the final phase of the US$198 million Highway 1 Lower Lynn Improvement Project in Metro Vancouver. As Lafarge Infrastructure has been the Prime Contractor for all preceding phases, the award of this additional and final phase will allow for continued synergies between the phases and will reduce the overall construction impact to the community.
Consistent with other Lafarge operations in Western Canada, the BC team continues to ensure construction progresses on these important infrastructure projects whilst following public and WorkSafe BC health protocols. This keeps workers, families and communities safe and able to continue to build better cities.
