Colorado declares concrete day

Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper has declared April 29 as ‘Concrete Day’ throughout the state of Colorado. This is in recognition of the importance of the industry to furthering development in the state, and of the hard work, dedication and efficiency of its employees.
In a statement, the Gov. Hickenlooper noted that "the industry is an important contributor to Colorado's infrastructure and economy. We look forward to celebrating Concrete Day at the Capitol every year."
