Cement sales on the Brazilian domestic market came in at 5.1 million t in December 2013
According to the SNIC, Brazilian cement production levels reached 70 million t in 2013, 2.4% higher than the 68.3 million t recorded in 2012. Domestic cement sales in December 2013 alone came in at approximately 5.1 million t, in line with the amount dispatched on the national market in December 2012. Exports declined by 45% y/y in December 2013 and by 24.9% in 2013 as a whole.
