ZAP hires Pete Sopher

ZAP Engineering and Construction Services Inc has announced that it has hired Peter Sopher as Vice President of Industrial Business Operations. Pete has over 40 years of engineering experience in cement and mineral processing and will head up all of ZAP’s operations in these industries.
Pete Sopher has a BS in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic University – Pomona, is a liscenced PE in 32 states and a liscenced P.Eng. in four Canadian provinces. The majority of his experience has been as a senior project manager responsible for managing multi-discipline projects for clients from the conceptual stage through final engineering and construction administration.
“The opportunity to add someone with Pete’s reputation and experience in the cement and mineral processing sectors is very exciting for ZAP,” said President Carl Soderman. “His leadership will have an immediate impact on our ability to serve a growing number of clients in those industries.”
