Argentina: Portland cement dispatches reached almost 1.2 million t in October 2014
According to the Argentine Association of Portland Cement Producers (AFCP), approximately 1.12 million t of cement was dispatched in October 2014, including exports. This is 5.8% higher than in September. Compared to October 2013, cement dispatches were down 3.1%.
Domestic consumption, including imports, grew by 5.3% m/m to reach 1.1 million t. This figure is 3.1% lower than consumption levels October 2013.
