Cesar Constantino joins ASTM International Board of Directors

Cesar A. Constantino, director of business development for Separation Technologies LLC, will serve a three-year term on the ASTM International board of directors. Constantino is based in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

A Titan America business, Separation Technologies is the leading producer of processed fly ash in the United States. Constantino joined Titan America’s Florida business in 2005 as manager of technical services, and then took on the role of director of concrete technology for Titan America LLC. Before assuming his current title, he served as senior director of process quality and then vice president of corporate engineering.

Prior to joining the Titan staff, Constantino worked as a researcher and a consultant both in Panama and the United States. He holds a B.S. in civil engineering, a M.S. in structural engineering and a Ph.D. in construction materials from the University of Texas at Austin.

An ASTM member since 2005, Constantino works on Committees C01 on Cement, C09 on Concrete and Concrete Aggregates and E60 on Sustainability. He has also contributed to the ASTM memorandum of understanding program in Latin America.

Outside ASTM, Constantino is a fellow of the American Concrete Institute and currently serves on the ACI board of directors. His other professional memberships include the American Coal Ash Association, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Society for Quality, the Iberoamerican Federation of Ready Mixed Concrete, the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association, the Portland Cement Association and the RMC Research and Education Foundation.

ASTM’s board of directors is made up of 25 leaders from an array of companies, associations and government bodies worldwide.
