Cemex forms strategic IT partnership with Neoris
Cemex has signed a US$500 million agreement with Neoris for long-term IT outsourcing services for Cemex’s global operations. The agreement will include a number of projects over a 10-year period. Neoris will enhance the services it already supplies to Cemex through the provision of software engineering, application development and technology deployments. The new contract is in addition to the 10-year strategic partnership between Cemex and IBM agreed in 2012, which includes business process, application maintenance and IT outsourcing services.
“Neoris has delivered great value for many large multinationals, and it will continue contributing in the future development of Cemex,” said Fernando Gonzalez, Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration of Cemex. “This agreement is a key component in Cemex’s continued transformation of front office services to enhance customer satisfaction as well as driving efficiency in our back-office operations.”
