The August 2014 issue of World Cement features a regional report on the cement sector in Latin America. Cementos Argos and Domicem discuss their operations in Colombia and the Dominican Republic, respectively, while Dynamis and Vakoma® present case studies of projects carried out in Central and South America. ADOCEM’s Executive Director, Julissa Baez, provides an overview of the cement market in the Dominican Republic, an abridged version of which can be found here. This discusses the impressive growth witnessed by the country’s cement industry over the last few decades. To round of August’s regional focus, World Cement has also created the following factsheet on Latin America.
