LafargeHolcim has announced its second acquisition in 2019, with the purchase of Colorado River Concrete (CRC) in Fort Worth, Texas. CRC operates a ready-mixed plant, serving customers from the Southwestern Dallas/Fort Worth area into parts of West Texas.
CRC was founded in 1987 and will add to LafargeHolcim’s operations in the region. These include Lattimore Materials in Northern Dallas and Tarrant Concrete in Fort Worth, as well as cement manufacturing operations at the Holcim Midlothian cement plant in Midlothian, Texas.
“We are pleased to welcome the CRC team to our family,” said Jay Moreau, CEO of LafargeHolcim’s US Aggregates and Construction Materials business. “The Dallas-Fort Worth area has been a dynamic and growing market, and CRC has been a part of that growth. This acquisition enhances our ability to leverage our strengths and efficiencies across this market.”
