Intercement and Construtora Camargo Corrêa to share innovation developments
Camargo Corrêa Group companies Intercement and Construtora Camargo Corrêa signed a mutual cooperation agreement in August. The two companies will share innovation and best practice within the construction sector. The agreement will include scientific research and cooperation programmes, knowledge management and construction chain innovation, in addition to working together to develop technology and processes.
The cooperation agreement kicked off with a meeting between the two companies at the Jirau Hydroelectric Power Plant, where innovations within the concrete production process were to be assessed.
“When we think on innovation we must always consider the entire production chain with the purpose of being more competitive through technology, processes, management and business model. Thus, joint work with InterCement will open to both companies several opportunities, which will be studied and probably will bring excellent results,” stated Construtora Camargo Corrêa’s Executive Innovation and Competitiveness Manager, Márcio Perez.
