Development and expansion
- Martin Engineering GmbH has announced the expansion of its conveyor safety-training program.
- A development agreement has been signed between Galliford Try and the Greater London Authority to construct the Silvertown Way development.
Corporate affairs
- Terex Construction has strengthened its distributor network with the appointment of Embankment Machinery Sales Ltd.
- ACIS will expand its service offering with Magnesita’s refractory products in support of global cement greenfield projects
- McInnis Cement and the Forestry Cooperative Association-St Elzear have signed a cooperative agreement to study biomass.
Distribution
- Sandvik Construction has announced that the Lutze Group is to be the company’s new distributor.
- Sinoma E & E has awarded a contract to Claudius Peters for the delivery of an ETA cooler with a capacity of 5500 tpd.

- Arabian Cement has custom-built the latest addition to its alternative fuel processing machinery.
- Rockström shares his belief that the earth’s biophysical capacity is no long sufficient to support mankind’s actions.
