Portland Cement Association appoints President and CEO
The Portland Cement Association (PCA) has appointed Gregory M. Scott as its President and CEO. Scott will be based at the PCA’s Washington, D.C. office, representing the association and its members before Congress, the Administration and the White House.
Scott was promoted to President in September 2012, after first joining the PCA as the Senior President of Government Affairs in January of the same year. He has extensive experience in trade association leadership and legislative campaigns on federal transportation, environmental and energy issues. Scott increased the National Petrochemical and Refineries Association’s public policy advocacy efforts, when serving as its Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Scott also has political, management and legal experience in both the public and private sectors, with Vice President of National Strategies, Inc. and Assistant Financial Director for Senator Timothy E. Wirth’s campaign for the US Senate counted among his past roles.
Look out for World Cement’s exclusive interview with the PCA’s Gregory Scott in an upcoming issue of the magazine.
