Lafarge Brazil recognised as top company to work for
Lafarge Brazil named one of the best companies to work for.
For the third year in a row, Lafarge Brazil has been included in the GreatPlacetoWork® Institute’s list of best companies to work for. The announcement was made in Sao Paulo on 19 August. The list takes into consideration factors such as credibility, respect, impartiality, pride and camaraderie.
Brazilian cement sales rise in July
According to preliminary results from the SNIC, domestic cement sales increased by 4.4% y/y to 6.2 million t in July 2013. Cement sales in Brazil also grew in January – July, rising by 2% y/y to reach 39.9 million t.
