The Cement Association of Canada has announced that it is a Founding Partner of the Carbon Impact Initiative, an industry-led action plan spearheaded by EllisDon corporation in support of Canada’s international climate change commitments.

The programme represents the first steps in a collective effort to provide the industry leadership to reach Canada’s international commitment on climate change. The Initiative aims to recognise that advancements in new technologies ate changing the industry at a rapid pace and be a part of that change by investing in cleantech development, incubating new ideas and methodologies and hiring industry innovators.
