Exchanging Italy’s Longest Conveyer Belt - Part 3

World Cement,

Service has top priority

As well as exchanging conveyor belts, the ContiTech Conveyor Belt Group’s service team offers a range of other services and service materials for customers in the cement industry. When maintenance checks are carried out on belts in existing systems, the technicians create a detailed report of their findings for the client. They also provide the necessary machines and tools. The service material range includes individual splicing materials for belt installations, lining materials such as Correx, which is used to protect systems from corrosion and wear, and Transcorrex drum lining, which improves power transmission significantly. For cold repairs the Conveyor Belt Group offers the Conrema range, a series of products for the upkeep and maintenance of conveyor belts. Another part of the service material range consists of unvulcanised cover plates, which can be hot-vulcanised for conveyor belt repairs. Rounding off the package are the cold adhesive ContiSecur Premium and a variety of assembly solutions.

When it comes to monitoring and inspecting belts, the ContiTech Conveyor Belt Group’s ContiProtect and ContiInspect systems are an ideal solution. Meeting the highest quality standards ensures high levels of security.
