BEUMER Group, a company specialising in the design and manufacture of material handling, automation and intralogistics systems, will demonstrate its latest conveying technologies at the MineXchange 2020 SME Conference & Expo. BEUMER experts will be at Booth #445.

BEUMER has provided conveying solutions for multiple mining projects, including the recent installation of a 4-mile curved overland conveyor at Knight Hawk Prairie Eagle Coal mine. The company has implemented technology, such as drone mapping, 3D planning and IIoT connectivity, to develop systems that increase routing flexibility across long distances and increase throughput while reducing energy use and environmental impact.

The company’s booth will feature an augmented reality display table that allows users to experience a range of conveying solutions – from quarrying through transportation – across a wide variety of terrains. This interactive feature will showcase how BEUMER systems can be used in areas challenged by tight turns and steep vertical inclines.

“We wanted a way for our customers and partners to have a first-hand look at BEUMER’s technology and solutions”, said Jackie Sessler, North American Marketing Director. “We feel that augmented reality is the best way to demonstrate what our systems are truly capable of,” Sessler continued.

In addition to conveying systems, BEUMER has developed a wide range of products for the mining and minerals industry, including port and terminal handling, storage and blending technologies, as well as ship loading. The MineXchange 2020 SME Conference & Expo will take place in Phoenix, AZ 23 – 26 February.
