Liebherr sells 50th LTM 11200-9.1 crane

World Cement,

In September, the 50th Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1 large crane was delivered. The mobile crane, which has a maximum lifting capacity of 1200 t, was sent to the Japanese company Yamagata. In July, Yamagata's Managing Director, Koichi Sambonsuge, visited the Liebherr factory in Ehingen, Germany, to inspect the new crane.

This crane was first presented to the public in 2007 at the Bauma trade fair in Munich and was immediately met with approval within the industry. To date, the LTM 11200-9.1 is the most powerful telescopic mobile crane on the market. It is also one of the longest in the world with a telescopic boom measuring 100 m. With a lattice boom extension and luffing jib, the crane can reach lifting heights of up to 188 m.

The fifty cranes delivered to customers so far have been sent all over the world. For example, seven LTM 11200 9.1 cranes are now owned by German companies, there are five in Mexico and four are in use in Brazil. The new crane for Yamagata is heading for Japan, which will increase the total number of machines on the market there to five.
