World Cement,

Need to move a conveyor belt across the desert, to bridge height differences and to stand extreme temperatures?

In order to keep long-distance conveyor systems moving even in case of geographical and climatic challenges Doppstadt offers belt drums with certificates of quality. In the mining sector of the 31st world-leading trade show for construction machinery bauma 2016 from 11 to 17 April 2016 the solution provider company presents its recipe for success: each drum is manufactured to a standardised quality concept, based on 50 years of experience in the belt drum construction, and at the same time adjusted to the individual customer demands and to the requirements of the field of application.

Doppstadt belt drums specialise in driving mile-long conveyor belts round the clock. They are used in conveyor belt systems and open cast mining equipment, for the extraction, storage and processing of raw materials and in special transport equipment for the solution of various transport problems for instance in overburden dumping, extraction plants and bench discharge conveyors. All the custom-made Doppstadt belt drums are durable and require little maintenance – an inestimable advantage because each repair involves the standstill of the entire conveyor.

Each belt drum is certified individually. Upon completion all the dimensions and all the welds are controlled 100 %. All the drums are lightweight and very tough. The standard bearing housing developed by Doppstadt is extremely long-lasting and ensures the customer a high reliability. Belt drum Division Manager Jörg Amend: “For all the customers’ requirements we look for a solution and usually find it, no matter how unusual the request. At the same time, we can deliver faster than many others. Our drums are ready for operation within three or four months at most and our local after-sales service keeps them operational.”
