Intelligent controller eliminates manual baghouse rounds

Published by , Editor
World Cement,

B-PAC™ series of Baghouse Performance Analysers & Controllers offer a combination of features to help dust collector operators reduce operating costs, minimise maintenance rounds, eliminate visual inspections and meet EPA or OSHA compliance simultaneously.

The controllers tightly integrate and display the status of process parameters including filter condition, DP, temperature, air flow, hopper level, fan amps, solenoids, etc. With full insight into process, there is no need to make lengthy visual baghouse rounds, saving valuable time and money.

Detect/locate:

  • Filter leaks (weeks before emissions are visible)
  • Failed solenoids that can lead to blinded filters
  • Ruptured or frozen pulse-jet diaphragms

Control/Configure:

  • Pulse Jet Cleaning modes
  • Manually cycle solenoids
  • Compartment Dampers
  • Hopper Airlocks
  • Sonic Horns

Intelligent filter cleaning extends filter life and lowers emissions, while reducing compressed air use by 15-40% over traditional PLC programming and up to 90% over continuous cleaning.

Optional software provides enhanced process control features and further automation of EPA record keeping. A series of models for small cartridge collectors to large multi-compartment baghouses is available.
