VDZ has released its ‘cement industry at a glance 2016/2017’ publication, which offers a compact and up-to-date location definition as well as a summary of the political and economic conditions of the industry.
As in previous years, the publication focuses on the development of the German cement market and the energy and climate policy framework. An additional chapter has also been included to discuss the raw material and land use of the local cement industry. Two further pages present the sustainability initiative of the German cement industry, which has existed since 2002.
