World Cement,
Sandvik has launched a new tunneling jumbo that makes excavation easier than ever with improved automation technology and intelligent features.
The DT922i tunnelling jumbo has been designed to maximise precision and performance while automating as much of the drilling and planning process as possible. The jumbo includes an intelligent control system that lets the operator choose between several different modes to take drilling accuracy to a whole new level. It also comes with an ergonomic cabin that provides 25% greater visibility and guarantees reduced noise levels.
DT922i is capable of excavating cross sections of up to 125 m2. Furthermore, it includes the iSURE® tunnel management tool for creating accurate plans for drilling, charging and blasting as well as data collection and analysis functions.
