Spectex LLC, a custom converter of advanced materials for environmental, medical, and aerospace applications, introduces SPECDOOR, an engineered high-performance gasket system that eliminates potentially dangerous leaks on baghouse doors.
The unique density and high “loft” of SPECDOOR felt seals conforms to warped doors and frames, thus eliminating air and particulate leakage. SPECDOOR is adhered to the baghouse with an all-weather pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) and cures when exposed to heat - no need for fasteners.
The seal is designed to operate in the harshest of environments from ambient to 500°F and will not harden or crack. SPECDOOR seals provide long life and ease of installation with no special tools or training. SPECDOOR seals are also available in any length and width to speed installation and minimise waste.
Since 2001, Spectex, an ISO 9001-2015 certified company has focused on innovative product design, while providing value added services, such as die cutting, slitting, water jet cutting, and laminating. The business has extensive expertise in processing a wide variety of standard and engineered materials.
