World Cement,
The manufacturer of advanced instruments for elemental analysis announced the shipment of its 40 000th spectrometer on 15 September, marking a major milestone for the company. The instrument in question was a Spectro Arcos optical emission spectrometer with inductively coupled plasma (ICP-OES), and was delivered to the Speyer location of SGS Germany GmbH, which is a leader in the fields of testing, verification and certification.
SGS is a long-term Spectro customer, and Spectro Managing Director Manfred Bergsch expressed his “warm thanks” to SGS for its “many years of trust.”
“In 1998, Spectro shipped its 10 000th instrument — 19 years after the founding of our company. In the following 17 years, we delivered another 30 000 spectrometers. I am firmly convinced that we will continue this pace in the coming years. In accordance with our team motto, ‘get in the game,’ we are already targeting the 50 000 mark,” Bergsch added.
