World Cement,
ASGCO Engineering’s Point Cloud Laser Scanner technology produces precise, accurate 3D models of conveyors and chutes, enabling quick measurements of facades, complex structures, production and supply facilities, accident sites, and large-volume components.
The portable Point Cloud Laser Scanner includes a high-speed Focus 3D X 130 HDR 3D scanner, which delivers realistic and true-to-detail scan results. The system can capture over 1 million points per second and can scan through 360° horizontally and vertically.
Other features include a distance accuracy of +/- 2 mm and a range of 0.6 – 130 m. Once the chute and conveyor are modelled, the image is overlaid onto the cloud point scan to ensure there are no interferences and that all modelled equipment fits properly.
