The meeting began with a welcome evening, before the delegates took part in two full days of production presentations, project case histories, current market conditions, and new technology briefings, which included the Horizontal Impact Calciner (HIC), ETA clinker cooler, and the dynamic diverter for coal.
A workshop on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects was also part of the agenda. The event concluded with a visit to the Hamburg container terminal and dinner at a fruit farm in Altes Land.
