Flexco announces new product in its tracker range

World Cement,

Flexco has recently announced the addition of the PT Pro, its first reversing belt trainer, to its complete line of trackers. Using Flexco’s patented ‘Pivot and Tilt’ design, the PT Pro Belt Trainer can track both single-direction and reversing belts. It is available in standard and heavy-duty options and can be used for belts that are either mistracking to one side or wandering to both sides. In order to ensure that the belt stays away from the structure, with the material staying on the belt, the unit instantly compensates for belt misalignment.

The use of unique tapered rollers to activate the trainer movement eliminates the need for sensor rollers. “The pivot on the trainer influences the direction, while the tilting action increases the tension on the mistracked side,” Flexco Senior Product Manager Ryan Grevenstuk explains. “The result is two forces quickly moving the belt back to centre.”

The trainer features simple brackets for straightforward installation and an adjustment screw that fine-tunes it for optimal performance. The PT Pro is distinct from other trainers, as the entire unit does not have to be replaced when the role has worn, with rolls available for reorder and replacement.

The PT Pro is suited to medium and heavy-duty applications, performs well in both wet and dry conditions and is recommended for use in underground mining, hard rock mining, aggregate, and bulk materials handling.
