Sandvik develops Centrex Pro

World Cement,
In order to combat the negative effects of overdrilling, Sandvik Construction has developed Centrex Pro, a down-the-hole drilling system designed with Spiral Flush that protects sensitive environments and safeguards surrounding structures.
The specially-designed Spiral Flush® technology of the Centrex Pro delivers crosswise flushing that causes no pressure against the ground. This means much less risk of over-drilling, and less, or no risk of air escape. Less water is lifted to the surface, which alleviates the risk of disturbing marine deposits. Its back flush also reduces the risk of getting stuck in the hole.
Spiral grooves prolong the bit’s service life, and an increased penetration rate improves flushing capabilities. Added to this is the Guide Center that decreases the risk of hole deviation through straight collaring.
The Centrex Pro is perfectly suited for any drilled pile installation, slope drainage, anchoring and stabilisation to name a few. It comes at the right time for many of Sweden’s on-going construction projects where sensitive handling is paramount to its success.
“This system has proven to outperform any existing systems in the market and we can now offer our Swedish customers this unique and trustworthy product.” Says Stefan Rahlenbeck, Sandvik Construction.
