Starlinger to present AD*STAR sacks at Chinaplas 2018

World Cement,

Starlinger is to present its AD*STAR technology for block bottom valve sacks at Chinaplas 2018 in Shanghai, China, in April. AD*STAR sacks offer resistant, versatile, and eco-friendly packing for dry bulk goods, such as cement and fertilizer.

AD*STAR sacks are woven on high-speed circular looms - the RX 6.0 model will be on display at the show. Meanwhile, an augmented reality application will offer visitors the opportunity to familiarise visitors themselves with the equipment.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to visit Starlinger’s showroom in Taicang, which will be open for the duration of the trade show. At the showroom, there will be live demonstrations of two other sack production lines: the IamiTEC LX coating line and the ad*starKON conversion line.

“We look forward to presenting our machinery to a wide audience,” said Klaus Mayerhofer, Regional Sales Director at Starlinger. “Having our own factory in China is definitely an advantage, providing support to our customers.”
