Holcim Mexico releases new cement

Holcim Mexico has released a new cement named Holcim Fuerte, a product aimed at the self-construction and housing sector.
With more than 133 million pesos invested, two years of laboratory studies and field trials with masons and master builders to analyse self-construction market needs, the new product has been found to possess many advantages.
Holcim Fuerte is an ideal product for foundations, columns, beams, floors, tiles, cisterns, tanks and housing applications generally.
This product incorporates the following attributes:
- It is easier to mix and place.
- Have a higher yield.
- Significantly reduces installation time by up to 20%.
- Has fewer cracks.
- An unbeatable setting.
- Competitive resistance.
- It offers a superior workability and greater permanence.
- A high water retention.
Actions were carried out in the field and technical visits will reach more than 3700 construction sites to provide advice to 55 000 end users throughout the country.
