German filtration specialist, MANN+HUMMEL, has reported preliminary figures for the 2017 financial year. Sales at the Ludwigsberg-based company were €3.9 billion in 2017, meeting its midyear forecast.
MANN+HUMMEL’s Industrial Filtration business provides filtration technology for a range of industries and applications, including a number that are used within the cement industry, such as construction machinery, industrial vacuum cleaners, and compressors.
Looking forward, the company “will continue to drive forward the realignment of the company,” said Alfred Weber, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board. This includes a focus on the company’s industrial business, as well as its offerings to the automotive industry and through its new Life Sciences and Environment division.
The company is also working on its digitalisation strategy, presenting a wide range of digital products and servies at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in January. This included the digital air filter monitor, Senzit, which was awarded the CES Innovation Award.
