World Cement,
Metso is to introduce the MX cone crusher to the European market at Steinexpo, the largest quarry exhibition in Europe, taking place in Europe’s largest basalt quarry in Homberg/Nieder-Ofleiden in Germany between 30 August and 2 September.
The MX crusher features multi-action crushing technology and, since its launch in the US in March, over twenty have been sold globally.
“Metso’s new MX cone, combining piston and rotating bowl adjusting technology, fits well with the current needs of aggregate producers,” said Jouni Mähönen, Vice President for Global Sales & Product Support at Metso. “We believe that interest in MX will be high in Europe too.”
Metso will display MX4 at Steinexpo, which operates in the 315 kW power range. The MX4 has a maximum feed opening of 254 mm and can reach capacity of up to 600 tph.
“Metso has been known [in Europe] for decades as the main developer of cone crusher technologies,” continued Mähönen. “Introducing the multi-action MX shows that our commitment to finding new solutions for our customers continues to be strong.”
