Fives appoints new Deputy General Manager

French industrial engineering company, Fives, has appointed Denis Mercier in the newly created position of Deputy General Manager.

In this position, Mercier will supervise all Fives functional departments, including Operational, Performance, Human Resources, Communication, Innovation, Strategy and Marketing, International Development, and IT. He will report directly to Frédéric Sanchez, Chairman of the Executive Board, as well as joining the Group Executive Committee.

Mercier joins the company after a distinguished career in the French military and NATO, were he was NATO Supreme Allied Commander Transformation between 2015 and September 2018. Before that, he was Chief of Staff of the French Air Force between 2012 and 2015.
