BEUMER Kansas City LLC has been merged into parent company, BEUMER Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Germany-based BEUMER Group. Effective from 1 January, BEUMER Kansas City will conduct business as BEUMER Corp.’s Conveying and Loading Division.

“Our primary objective for this merger is simple but critically important” to enhance our capacity for consistently creating and delivering the total value that our customers seek,” said Tony Barr, President of BEUMER Corp. Conveying and Loading Division.

Following the merger, BEUMER Conveying and Loading Division will continue to be based in the Kansas City metropolitan area. It is one of four business lines that make up the New Jersey-based BEUMER Corp. Other divisions include Packaging and Palletising, and Sortation and Distribution, both also based in New Jersey, as well as Airport Baggage Handling, which is based in Dallas, Texas.

"The merger presents a key opportunity to sharpen our focus and to strengthen our position as premier supplier of bulk conveying and handling solutions and of related technical and business support services,” continued Barr. “We look forward to a future rich in mutual opportunity — and mutual success — with our customers."
