L&T Construction to build two new cement plants

L&T Construction, part of Mumbai-based engineering multinational, Larsen & Tourbro, has been awarded a contract for the construction of two cement plants.
An “order has been secured from a leading cement manufacturer for the construction of cement plants in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh on the design and build model,” the company said in a press release.
In total, the company said its Buildings & Factories business had recently won orders worth INR40.03 billion (around US$585 million), including the two cement plants.
