World Cement,

Dalmia Bharat has launched Dalmia FBC Cement, a premium-quality super-fine blended cement that comes with “all the benefits of portland slag cement and portland pozzolana cement”. The new brand was launched by B.K. Singh, Senior Executive Director, Group Marketing and Communications, and Indrajit Chatterji, Executive Director Sales and Marketing (East).

The blend of slag and silica in Dalmia FBC Cement “results in long-term durability and provides higher compressive strength and longer service life,” said Chatterji.

“With the rising material costs, a product like Dalmia FBC Cement gives better coverage of an area in every bag, which leads to saving on the overall construction budget,” continued Chatterji. “With the launch of Dalmia FBC Cement, we will ensure the highest standard of strength and endurance, which underlines the improved construction efficiency.”

Dalmia Bharat is a leading Indian cement producer, controlling capacity of 26 million tpy, and the country’s leading producer of slag cement. It is also one of the top-ranked companies for environmental management, producing cement with one of the lowest carbon footprints globally from its plants in eastern India.
