World Cement,
JK Cement has set a milestone for the new greenfield cement plant in Jaisalmer by ordering India's largest raw material mill from Gebr. Pfeiffer.
The MVR 6000 R-6 ordered, with its high technical availability, is equipped with a drive power of 7400 kW and boasts an enormous capacity of 1200 tph. This makes it one of the most powerful plants in the world.
Gebr. Pfeiffer has repeatedly set records in India, such as “largest production capacity,” “largest installed drive power,” and “shortest project implementation time,” so this order continues the company's long tradition of Indian records.
An integrated SLS 6300 VR high-performance classifier is used to achieve the required product fineness of 1.5% residue on a 212 µm screen – for precise results and consistent quality. Thanks to the high power density of the MVR vertical roller mill, JK Cement benefits from a compact plant layout with reduced space requirements – a decisive advantage for the planned grinding plant. The project is being carried out in close cooperation between Gebr. Pfeiffer (India) Pvt. Ltd. and Gebr. Pfeiffer SE (Germany) to ensure completion by the end of 2026.
With this investment, JK Cement is demonstrating maximum efficiency in cement raw material grinding and thus making an important contribution to better sustainability in the Indian cement industry.
