Ultratech secures coal linkages for cement plants

According to multiple sources, Ultratech has announced that it has secured coal supply for its cement plants and won linkages in Maharashtra.
The linkages include the Penganga OC mines – 52 000 tpy of G10 Grade at a basic floor price of Rs 1510 per t and a premium of Rs 20 per t.
The company also won the supply from Mana Incline for 30 000 tpy of Grade 8 at a basic floor price of Rs 2060 a t.
The firm had reported grey cement sales of 46.93 million t for 2015-16 against 43.38 million t in 2014-15 and 13.20 million t in 1Q of 2015-16 against 11.51 million t in the previous year.
Ultratech has an installed capacity of 69.3 million tpy. It has 12 integrated plants, 1 clinkerisation plant, 19 grinding units and 7 bulk terminals with operations spanning across India, UAE, Bahrain, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
