World Cement,
The Supervisory Board of thyssenkrupp AG has extended the contract of Dr. Donatus Kaufmann (53) by five years, to 31 January 2022. Dr. Kaufmann is a member of the Executive Board responsible for Legal and Compliance. He has been a member of the Executive Board since February 2014 and is also responsible for the north America and Western Europe regions.
“The extension of Dr. Kaufmann’s contract is a clear signal that compliance continues to be a top priority at thyssenkrupp,” says Professor Dr. Ulrich Lehner, Chairman of the Supervisory Board. For thyssenkrupp compliance is a central element of good corporate governance and means more than abiding by the law and internal policies. Compliance is a question of mindset: Reliability, honesty, credibility and integrity are part of thyssenkrupp’s values. Infringements, in particular violations of antitrust law and corruption, are met with a ‘zero tolerance’ policy.
