Cemex Ventures launches Open Call

Published by , Assistant Editor
World Cement,

Cemex Ventures has launched its first Open Call, which will run from 29 March – 24 May. The call us open to anyone who will explore innovative and/or technology driven business models within the construction ecosystem, such as start-ups, entrepreneurs and innovators. Cemex Ventures will consider any idea at any stage of development.

Ideas should not be restricted to just the building materials arena, but should focus on Cemex Venture’s four key areas affecting the broader construction ecosystem: urban development, connectivity improvements within the construction value chain, new construction trends and technologies, and the creation and development of new project finance resources.

Based on the selection criteria, the most promising ideas and projects will be pitched to the company’s Top Management, with the winning ideas from the pitch receiving financial support, mentorship, and access to key industry expertise and infrastructure to help accelerate its continued growth.
